IL State Chamber of Commerce issued the following announcement on June 5.
“We applaud the vital support of the Chicago Region Environment and Transportation Efficiency (CREATE) Program and Illinois’ transportation and infrastructure system as a whole, which is crucial to our state’s economy. The federal award from the U.S. Department of Transportation that grants $132 million to the 75th St. Corridor Improvement Project recognizes the importance of the Chicago region and Illinois to our nation’s economy.
