Illinois Chamber weighs in on proposed natural gas use tax in City of Decatur, IL.
At the 10.8.24 meeting, the Decatur City Council voted 5-2 in favor of tabling the vote on the ordinance. Local businesses and the Decatur Chamber of Commerce provided public comments in opposition during the hearing. If your business is impacted by this ordinance, tell the Decatur City Council to vote no.
