All user clients and temporary staffing agencies need to take note that in addition to last year’s House Bill 2862 that created an avalanche of new regulations on Illinois staffing agencies and user clients that utilize temporary staffing services, the Illinois legislature went back in and made additional changes to the Illinois Day & Temporary Services Act through Senate Bill 3650. There are many new tweaks that the staffing industry must know and note. Some of the recent changes impact what they did to the law in 2023 through HB2862. Other recent changes are entirely new and completely out of left field.
