Illinois Chamber Board Chair, Tony Reinhart

Tony Reinhart has dedicated more than three decades to Ford Motor Company, holding critical roles in government relations and corporate affairs. He currently serves as Director of State and Local Government Affairs, leading Ford Motor Company’s state and local legislative and policy team nationwide. He is an Executive Committee Member and state lead for the Alliance for Automotive Innovation, directing policy positions for the automotive industry nationwide. His leadership extends to the autonomous vehicle sector, as a Board of Directors member and past-Chair for the Autonomous Vehicle Industry Association (AVIA) , advocating for the safe and timely deployment of autonomous vehicles across the United States. 

Beyond his corporate responsibilities, Tony is deeply involved in community service. He serves on the Board of Directors for multiple organizations, including the Illinois Chamber of Commerce, Chicagoland Chamber of Commerce, Calumet Industrial Commission and Chicago Civic Federation.  He is Chair of the Ford Civic Action Fund, reflecting his commitment to civic engagement and public policy.

Reinhart earned a B.A. in political science, business administration, and economics from Drury University in Springfield, Missouri.  He is married to Michel Burks Reinhart, and they have two daughters, Lauren and Hannah.
