Many changes have been made to Illinois’ workers’ compensation law over the past year. Over a dozen key revisions were enacted in June of 2011 and important rules to implement the 2011 law changes have been adopted or are pending implementation. The Chamber has been cautious about over-selling the impact of the 2011 changes to our law because we do not believe the revisions were adequate to reverse Illinois as a high cost state. With over a year after enactment, the cost curve for Illinois’ workers’ compensation system has not been bent towards significant cost reductions. The Illinois Chamber believes more needs to be accomplished to achieve true reform of our workers’ compensation system

Our Fourth Annual Workers’ Compensation Conference is an excellent forum to learn about how your company can maximize the value of the changes recently made. The one-day Conference also is a platform that brings employers together to hear what additional reforms are necessary and how employers working together can see those reforms enacted in Springfield.

Be sure to join us at Illinois’ only workers’ compensation conference that provides both insightful information to help your company control costs and an action plan to deliver true reform of the system.
