The OSHA 30 Hour Construction Industry Training Program is a comprehensive safety program designed for anyone involved in the general industry. The purpose of this course is to promote workplace safety and health and to make workers more knowledgeable about workplace hazards and their rights. This course will give students insight into the various OSHA Standards related to the Construction Industry by examining each Standard closely. This course provides workers with some safety responsibility at a greater depth and a variety of training. Training is intended to cover an overview of the hazards a worker may encounter on the workplace. Training emphasizes hazard identification, avoidance, control and prevention.
