The conference will feature experts in the fields of Technology, Social Media, Human Resources & Legal Issues, Going Green, Saving Your Company Tax Dollars, and more with several workshop sessions to focus on the needs of your business. The Illinois Chamber of Commerce is seeking targeted and innovative proposals for the 2012 Illinois Chamber’s Small Business Conference & Expo to be held September 25, 2012, at the Tinley Park Convention Center in Tinley Park, Illinois. The theme of the Conference is Strategies and Resources to Take your Business to the Next Level.The Illinois Chamber’s Small Business Conference and Expo will attract Small Business entrepreneurs, business owners, Human Resource Specialists, and executives from across the state of Illinois.
There are 382,975 employers in Illinois.
- 79.2% of Illinois employers employed 1-9 employees
- 18.6% of Illinois employers employed 10-99 employees
- 2.3% of Illinois employers employed 100 or more employees
Submissions will be accepted through June 1, 2012. Submit your completed form below or send information to lsilvey@ilchamber.org
Our presenters are cutting-edge leaders presenting innovative strategies, workable implementation plans, new concepts, etc. in a multitude of industries from manufacturing to service, from law and finance to education and government. Please note presentations will be 45 minutes to one hour. Make sure your topic falls under one of the topics outlined below:
- HR & Legal
- Sales/Marketing
- What’s Hot in Technology
- How to Save Your Company Tax Dollars
- Making Your Company “Green”
- Social Media
- Building a Business Plan
- Other Business Topics
Any of the following presentation formats will be considered:
- Panel: 3-5 speakers and a moderator on a panel
- Workshop: 1 or more speakers leading a workshop
- Solo or Double Presentation- one or two people presenting and speaking on a topic
All who submitted a session proposal will be notified during the week of July 1 about the status of their proposal(s). Due to the large number of proposals received, we cannot specifically list the reason(s) a session is not selected.
