This webinar will provide the attendees with a review of Illinois and Federal law, as it relates employees hours worked. This Webinar will discuss when the Company has an obligation to pay its employees and when the Company does not need to pay its employees. This Webinar will review waiting time requirements, lunch periods, travel time, preliminary and post activities, and other hours worked scenarios. This webinar will also provide a detailed explanation of the recent United States Supreme Court decision, which analyzes what work must be paid to an employee and what work does not need to be paid to the employee. Lastly, this Webinar will provide the most recent amendments to the Illinois Wage Payment and Collections Act and the impact those amendments will have on your organization’s decision with severance agreements.
