Today there are more pregnant employees in the workplace than ever before. Yet, discrimination against pregnant employees still permeates some workplaces.
Additionally, data has shown that pregnant employees work longer into their pregnancy and often return sooner after giving birth. Much like a pregnancy itself, working while pregnant can present a number of challenges for pregnant employees that affect their ability to work. In these situations, pregnant employees may need accommodation to continue working and the need for accommodation creates its own set of challenges for employers.

Topics to be Discussed:
• The laws addressing pregnancy discrimination.
• The Supreme Court’s decision in Young v. UPS and what it means for employers.
• The laws addressing pregnancy accommodation.
• Suggested best practices and practical advice.
