In Illinois, there are state specific laws guiding rests, breaks, and the number of
days a week an employee in Illinois is allowed to work. Employers in Illinois need to be aware of both Illinois and Federal wage and hour laws. This webinar will discuss legal issues regarding compensable work time relating to meals and breaks under Illinois and federal laws. We will address requirements under the Illinois One Day Rest in Seven (ODRISA) Act, other compensable time issues, recordkeeping issues, and the best practices associated with each situation.
