During this entertaining and informative webinar, attorneys Gene Keefe and John P. RegisterCampbell, Jr. of Keefe, Campbell & Associates, will review a number of crucial factors to be considered in dealing with any workers’ compensation claim across the globe.
They will analyze optimum accident investigation models along with insuring you have your health care protocols in place.  HIPAA requirements will be considered to insure you have access to medical records and your claims adjusters and nurse case managers are unempeded in assisting in WC claims management.
The presenters will then confirm how to best set targets for MMI (Maximum medical improvement) and RTW and return to work light and later full duty.  They will consider and carefully outline issues in setting fair claim and treatment goals to include IMEs, UR, ACOEM and/or ODG guidelines along with simple common sense.   Next, you will receive advice from two veteran defense lawyers who will guide you in pushing your claim targets.  Numerous “real time” examples will be provided and analyzed.
Thereafter, they will talk about ongoing claims management concepts to include absence or what some folks call “presence” management.  They will give you Illinois-specific tips on how to best keep in touch and manage workers who are still on your payroll and receiving WC benefits.
Then, in a state that can bedevil even the strongest claims manager, they will give you the inside scoop on how to drive claim closure.
