OSHA regulations and enforcement practices have undergone constant change under the leadership of David Michaels. Penalty increases have been implemented and the rate of inspections continues to rise. Employer preparedness for an OSHA inspection is critical to avoid unwarranted fines and poor publicity. In addition, OSHA has changed numerous regulations related to mandatory reporting, recordkeeping, whistleblower protection, electronic filings, retaliation, and drug testing policies.

This seminar is specifically designed to provide critical updates on new OSHA regulations and enforcement practices. In addition, participants will walk through the OSHA inspection process with important insight on handling each phase of the inspection.

Participants will Learn:
• Requirements under the new electronic reporting regulations;
• How to protect against increased enforcement of whistleblower protection;
• New recordkeeping and mandatory reporting regulations;
• OSHA’s new directive regarding drug testing policies and how to respond;
• How incentive/bonus programs may lead to OSHA citations;
• The steps involved in an OSHA inspection and how to reduce exposure to fines;
• What to do when OSHA arrives;
• What to expect after OSHA completes its inspection; and
• What to do if you receive a citation
