Labor & Employment attorneys from SmithAmundsen’s Chicago and Indianapolis offices, Jeffrey Risch, Michael Wong and Suzanne Newcomb, will present a full day live seminar for employers operating in both Indiana and Illinois; and anyone interested in taking an in-depth look at the similarities and differences between employment and labor laws in the two states. The presentation will examine litigation and employee dispute avoidance strategies and offer best practices that comply in both states. -Illinois & Indiana DOL & EEO/ Civil Rights Agencies: compare and contrast the states’ enforcement agencies and their very different approaches
-Obligations after the employment relationships ends
