Taught by attorneys from ASA Law Group Register

In 2011, Illinois legislation introduced several changes to the workers compensation
system. How effective were these changes? Are the amendments actually reducing workers
compensation costs? Is the business community reaping any meaningful benefit from these
amendments? We will tackle these important questions by ‘peeling the onion’ in analyzing
WCRI CompScope Benchmarks for Illinois, which studies the impact of 2011 amendments
on several metrics such as claims cost, indemnity, medical benefits, medical-legal and other metrics. We will analytically analyze how Illinois compares to other study states post 2011 reform and discuss implementation strategies to combat workers compensation costs in Illinois. Join us in this dynamic, informative and engaging presentation!
