Today’s OSHA is deeply focused on enforcement. The current head of OSHA, David Michaels, “encourages” compliance through the issuance of increased penalties and public shaming through broad press releases. Now is the time to be sure your organization is prepared if OSHA shows up for an inspection. This seminar is designed to assist employers in preparing for an OSHA inspection and for handling all phases of OSHA proceedings. In addition, the seminar will include updated information on changed OSHA laws and guidance. Participants will Learn:
• The current landscape of OSHA enforcement;
• How to prepare your workforce before OSHA arrives, including compliance with recordkeeping and new requirements;
• Your rights as an employer, especially in the age of increased retaliation and whistleblower claims;
• What to do if/when OSHA arrives;
• What to expect after OSHA completes its inspection; and
• What to do if you receive a citation.
