Workplace harassment continues to haunt employers of all sizes, shapes and industries.  As we have seen in recent news stories, no employer (or individual) is immune from such risks.  However, all employers can significantly reduce these potential legal challenges with an informed and well trained supervisory staff.  In fact, the law and common sense requires supervisors and managers to receive proper training in the areas of identifying, preventing and re mediating workplace harassment and discrimination. This half-day live presentation will help train management of all levels and better prepare employers to more proactively manage and resolve problems involving alleged, perceived and/or real harassment, discrimination, bullying, violence and unequal treatment in the workplace.

Topics for discussion will include:
If the “victim” does not complain, do I still have to investigate?
Confidential investigations: what can or should I say to the victim, the harasser and to other employees or witnesses?
Should I prepare a written investigative report, what should be included & will it help or hurt?
What type of corrective action is available or appropriate?
What can I do to deal with inappropriate conduct before it becomes unlawful?
