The 2016 Illinois Chamber Annual Meeting is set for Tuesday, June 14, 2016.  The networking reception and lunch will be held at the Palmer House Hilton on Tues. June 14, 2016 from 10 am – 2 pm.

This year’s event will start out with a pre-event networking reception presented by the Illinois Chamber of Commerce policy councils beginning at 10 am. At 11:30 am, the annual luncheon will begin with a plated lunch and our keynote speaker. Attendees will honor the recipients of the Edie Awards, presented in partnership with the Illinois Economic Development Association.  These awards are given annually to recognize outstanding development projects that were completed during the previous year in Illinois.

This year’s keynote speaker will be Dennis Muilenburg, Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer of The Boeing Company.  The Boeing Company is celebrating its centennial year in 2016.  Muilenburg, 52, oversees the strategic direction of the Chicago-based, $90.8 billion aerospace company. It is the leading manufacturer of commercial airplanes, military aircraft, and defense, space and security systems; it supports airlines and U.S. and allied  government customers in more than 150 nations.
