Local Chamber Relations

Our job is to help local chambers succeed. We will do this by providing services and personnel that are dedicated to helping local chambers grow their services and revenues while learning more about how to successfully advocate for the interests of business. We will also provide the management team of each local chamber with wide-ranging access and comprehensive expertise on many business related topics and public policy and/or regulatory issues.

An important part of our commitment is partnering with the Illinois Association of Chamber of Commerce Executives (IACCE) to provide staff, program support and information exchange to fulfill the association’s mission to enhance the careers and skills of chamber executives in Illinois.

What is IACCE?
The Illinois Association of Chamber of Commerce Executives (IACCE) seeks to advance the profession of chamber executives through personal development and interaction with other chamber professionals. Events, publications and other forms of communication keep us in touch. The Illinois Chamber's Local Chamber Relations Director also serves as the President of the IACCE.

Chamber Positions Throughout Illinois

IACCE 2006/2007 Compensation and Salary Survey
IACCE launched a new publication at the 2006 IACCE Fall Conference for local chamber executives. The 2006/2007 Compensation and Salary Survey can be ordered by contacting Mary Taylor. The statewide survey looks at benefits and salary ranges for the Chicago region, downstate Illinois, and the entire state as a whole for executives and specific staff positions. $49 - IACCE members, $99 - non-members.
